We used a Q9650 @ 3.96Ghz with 2GB DDR2 and a GTX295. Performance was good, although we expected something more. The game doesn't take full advantage of the quadcores. As we can see below, the game engine uses mainly two cores. Also, when we lowered our CPU overclock to 3.6Ghz, there were noticeable slowdowns. The above observations mean that you'll need a high CPU frequency if you want to enjoy Front Mission Evolved without frame drops.
Regarding the GPU requirements, you really won't need a high-end card to enjoy it. The game is clearly CPU bound. Our GPU usage was averaging to 80% at 1600x1200 with max details, although there were occasions were it was dropping to 30-40%. We upped the resolution to 1920x1440 and performance was the same and as you would expect, the GPU usage was higher due to the higher resolution. As for the RAM, you won't need more than 2GB to fully enjoy it.
